About Us

The All-Holy Trinity Orthodox Church our mission and our contribution to Orthodoxy

Our Origin

The roots of this church are in Ukraine. Founded over a thousand years ago. It is a complicated history. We will attempt to unravel it for you over the next few months, it is that complicated.

The Orthodox Christian church has existed since Jesus Christ established His church and the Holy Spirit descended on the Apostles at Pentecost. This is the ancient faith. People have always criticized the Orthodox church for not changing. For not conforming to the current times. This refusal to change with the times is a blessing.

Ukraine has played a pivotal role in Orthodoxy since the conversion of the people in Kyiv in 988. Strangely enough, the Ukrainian church continues to be at the heart of Orthodoxy today and a key player in the faith’s future. Bold words, but this too will be explored in greater detail.

An incredible change is happening today. People are looking for the ancient church. Orthodoxy has remained virtually unchanged over the last two thousand years. Preserved in the east, waiting to be rediscovered by the west. The time has come. Find out more, and if the Spirit moves you, then join us in this new/old age.

Who we are

 A Sanctuary

We are a house of prayer, and everyone is welcome. Orthodoxy is liturgical; everything we do centers on the liturgy, which is celebrated on Sunday, Holy Days, and at various times throughout the year. We also offer many other services that support the daily, seasonal, and annual cycles of prayer. All this is designed to help bring Christ into your life, every day and every hour. You can see the full cycle of services on our website.

A Bridge

We are a bridge. Orthodoxy is one faith with many different languages.

  • We all follow the canons and the Fathers, and we have the same services.
  • We are all Canonical, but not all are in Communion with each other. Sadly, being in communion can change at the whim of men and politics.
  • We are a small church in a small and newer jurisdiction, the Ukrainian church.
  • We are pan-orthodox, recognizing that Orthodoxy is not exclusive to any one ethnic jurisdiction.

If you are a baptized and Chrismated Orthodox Christian, you are welcome to partake in all our services, including communion.

If you are baptized by us and move or decide to join a larger jurisdiction, they will probably recognize your baptism and bring you into their jurisdiction by their Chrismation. That act of Chrismation brings you into their Apostolic Succession, their church. It’s how things are done. In this way, we are your bridge to Orthodoxy.

A Home

We are your home church. We are here in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord God and Savior, to serve you, your family, and your spiritual needs. To greet you at the Divine Liturgy, to bless your home, visit you in the hospital, and bury you with Orthodox dignity. To grow together, learn together, and pray together. To consult, confess, share the sacraments, and celebrate this magnificent faith God has given to us.

When you are baptized into the Orthodox faith, you become a part of the Royal Priesthood. You are qualified to stand before the “dread judgment seat of Christ.” No one can take your place, but we can stand with you as the community of Orthodox Christians, united in our faith and dedicated to supporting and sharing with each other as we take this extraordinary journey home.

We are an Orthodox Christian church, part of the ancient faith. Walk with us as we explore this ancient faith and the role of this Ukrainian church as we look for a church, The church, united as God and the fathers wanted.
